Jacek Bigaj, Robert Tabiś
The purpose of the article is to review the potential applications of AI in project management. Based on the analysis of the literature on the subject, key AI techniques such as fuzzy logic, neural networks and natural language processing (NLP) are presented, as well as their application in five phases and ten knowledge areas of project management. Attention was drawn to the potential of automating project manager tasks and the most common AI functions, such as advising, classification and prediction. Despite the still limited user experience, AI is gaining in importance, particularly in the construction and IT industries. The conclusions point 24 to the growing role of IT as a tool supporting the efficiency and quality of project implementation.
